1960 – 1984 Gross Engineering Company – specializing in government and institutional HVAC work

1985 - Present Gross Mechanical Contractors – specializing in industrial construction for the power and process industries

1970 2nd generation enters business

1980 Company completes more private work for GAF, National Lead and Monsanto

1992 Company decides to focus solely on process and power piping

1988 Millwrights, Ironworkers and Boilermakers hired

1995 Company moves to its current 80,000 square foot facility

1999 3rd generation enters business

2000 – Present Awarded Anheuser Busch maintenance contract for Saint Louis Brewery

2002 Completes work as largest prime contractor on 580 MW Combined Cycle Power Station in Pleasant Hill, MO

2005 All field supervision, field office personnel and home office supervisory personnel complete OSHA 30 hour training class
